Why I chose this
Bottled dish soap is one of the easiest plastics to remove from a kitchen sink. I chose this set because it replaces it with a solid soap bar on a draining bamboo dish, plus the brush, pot scrubber and sponges a busy family kitchen goes through. It looks tidy enough to leave out by the sink.
Details
A complete sink-side set for pots, pans and everyday dishes, without plastic scrub pads or bottled dish soap. A solid dish soap bar sits on a draining bamboo dish, ready for the sisal brush, the pot scrubber or the sponges.
Inside the kit
- Solid dish soap bar (8 oz)
- Dual-layer bamboo soap dish that drains
- Refillable sisal hand brush
- Sisal and palm pot scrubber refill
- 2 eco sponges made from wood pulp and loofah
- Pop-up copper scrubby made from recycled copper
Made by Plantish, a plant-based home brand in Richmond, British Columbia. Ships from Canada.
Size, materials + care
Includes: solid dish soap bar (8 oz), dual-layer bamboo soap dish, refillable sisal hand brush, sisal and palm pot scrubber refill, 2 eco sponges and a copper scrubby. Soap bar: wet it, lather onto the brush or sponge, then rinse dishes well. Keep it on the draining dish between uses. Bamboo dish: let it air-dry and keep it out of standing water. Brushes: rinse after use and dry bristles-down. Don't soak or put in the dishwasher. Swap the head when the bristles wear. Sponges: rinse and air-dry between uses. Compost when worn. Copper scrubby: for sturdy cookware only. Avoid non-stick and delicate surfaces. Recycle as metal when worn. By Plantish, Richmond, BC.
