Why I chose this
Plastic sponges wear out fast and are hard to keep fresh. These brushes dry between uses, the heads twist off when they wear out, and you keep the bamboo handles. With a spare head for each brush in the box, this set covers everyday dishes and tough pots for a long time.
Details
The two brushes I reach for every day, in one set: a sisal dish brush for plates, glasses and the sink, and a sisal and palm pot scrubber for baked-on pans. Both have bamboo handles and replaceable heads, and each comes with a spare head, so you're set for months.
What's in the set
- Refillable sisal dish hand brush with one spare head. Soft enough for everyday dishes, firm enough to lift stuck-on food.
- Refillable sisal and palm pot scrubber with one spare head. Stiffer bristles for pots, pans and cast iron, without scratching.
Why refillable?
When the bristles wear down, you twist off the head and twist on a new one. You keep the bamboo handle, so there's less waste and you only buy a new head, not a whole brush.
Made by Plantish
A small plastic-free brand based in British Columbia. Sisal comes from the agave plant and is naturally strong and long-lasting; the handles are bamboo.
Ships directly from Plantish in Canada. Both brushes arrive together in one package.
Size, materials + care
Sisal and palm bristles, bamboo handles, cotton hanging strings. Includes 1 spare head for each brush. Care: rinse after use and hang or stand bristles-down to dry. Dip the bristles in a little vinegar now and then to keep them fresh. Don't soak or put in the dishwasher, and keep away from high heat. When a head wears out, compost it or reuse it for garden and shoe cleaning.
Shipping + returns
Orders ship from within Canada in 1–3 business days and usually arrive 2–7 business days later, with tracking. Shipping is free on orders of $75+, otherwise a flat $12. No duties or border fees.
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, send us a photo within 7 days and we'll replace or refund it at no cost. Full details
